Second child of Daniel and Louise Jackson, born aboard the Galaxy-class starship USS Dauntless. Father was an intelligence officer aboard the Dauntless, mother was a civilian who stayed aboard. Lawrence had a knack for being able to sneak around the ship, and often times would pop up in areas restricted to civilians. Was sent to the Academy at 18.

Majored in Computer Systems. An officer saw his potential and had him assigned to the black-ops training center immediately after graduation. Learned all necessary skills to become an Infiltration Specialist over the course of a year, and was assigned to the USS Bonaventure.
