Roger TullyRoger Tully enlisted with the marines straight out of school at the age of 18. Large and physically fit even for a marine at his age, Tully quickly left the rest of his training group in the dust so to speak when it came to field excercises and combat. Although only a average marksman, Tully knows how to make those shots count. Posessing a keen situational sense and intuition, Tully rose through the ranks as quickly as can be expected of an average marine with a few exceptional abilities. Tully's key talent is in the training and leadership of the men under him, and he has been noted as being one of the most effective disciplinarians in the corp.
Tully is the latest in a long line of Tully marines. Since before mankind set off into space under fusion power, there has been a Tully fighting in the marine corp. Unfortunately, Tully marines are also known for being short lived, and have rarely seen a posting as an officer. Roger has been remarkably successful in terms of longevity considering he has seen over a dozen years in service of the corp with little incident. He has yet to have children, and many are beginning to wonder if the Tully line of marines will come to an end with Roger.
